Project Concept and Design Approach

We were delighted to deliver a workplace for Specialist Technical Services (STS Group) that reflects their values and supports their people for years to come. The design was rooted in well-being, sustainability, diversity, inclusion, and community—creating a workspace that is functional, flexible, and future-ready.

At the heart of the design concept was well-being through connection with nature. Biophilic design principles were integrated throughout, including the use of natural materials, organic patterns, and subtle geographical references. Sweeping curves in the joinery and environmental graphics inspired by water movement reinforce these natural connections, creating a calm and engaging atmosphere.

The floorplan was carefully developed to promote choice, collaboration, and innovation. Breakout areas, flexible work zones, and shared spaces foster transparency and inclusivity, ensuring the workplace evolves with the needs of the business and its people.
