Nestled at the Commeragh mountains’ base, this house features floating roofs and glass walls that blend with the landscape, offering panoramic views and a seamless indoor-outdoor flow.

This house at the foot of the Commeragh mountains was inspired by it setting. The floating roof structures follow the slope of the landscape while the glass walls capture the panoramic views of the mountains as they fall away to the coast above Dungarvan. The house is embedded in the site ensuring that the visual impact to its environment is minimal. The contemporary feel to the house contrasts with the landscape that surrounds the building. As you move through the building there is a seamless transition between inside and outside spaces.
