Pembrokestown House – A Regency Revival in Waterford.
A meticulous restoration blending heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary luxury.

Project Concept and Design Approach

Pembrokestown House stands as an exceptional example of Regency architecture, thoughtfully restored and reimagined through a sensitive conservation and refurbishment process. Our design approach focused on preserving the period character of the property while introducing modern comfort, functionality, and understated elegance.

The project involved the complete restoration of the main residence, alongside the adaptive reuse of the original Coach House and Stables. These have been transformed into refined guest accommodations, seamlessly integrated within the estate’s historic fabric. Each space reflects a careful balance between traditional detailing and contemporary living standards, ensuring timeless appeal and long-term integrity.

Sustainability and craftsmanship guided every stage of the work, from material selection to landscaping. The design celebrates the property’s natural surroundings through extended gardens, a serene sunken courtyard, and a showstopping heated swimming pool—creating a private sanctuary that honours both history and place.
